Moi

I found this fun little quiz via Michelle, Courtney and Kris....turns out I belong in Paris! I would love to think this is true! Sadly, I have never been to Paris, but I am dying to go.

You Belong in Paris

Stylish and expressive, you were meant for Paris.

The art, the fashion, the wine!

Whether you're enjoying the cafe life or a beautiful park...

You'll love living in the most chic place on earth.

Giddy Up Tops!

Western style shirts have been around for a couple seasons now and it doesn't look like they're going anywhere anytime soon. I like how there are so many options of styles out there - from traditional plaid, more masculine shirts, to those with ruffles and bows. There are actually a number of them at Forever 21 in various colors, patterns and fits, most all under $20. Perfect pricing, because you know they'll inevitably go out of style - at least for those of us who are not real cowgirls.

New Additions

It's time again to update my workout playlist. Here are a few songs I've recently added.

  • The Garden – Mirah
  • Disturbia – Rihanna
  • The Beat is Rockin’ (radio Edit) – Eric E
  • Leavin’ – Jesse McCartney
  • Just Dance – Lady GaGa
  • Give it 2 Me (Paul Oakenfold Drums In Mix) – Madonna
  • Shake & Pop (Gantman Remix) – Green Velvet
  • Break the Ice (Kaskade Remix) – Britney Spears
  • Forever – Chris Brown
  • ThriveMix Presents: DanceAthems 2 - Jason Nevins (continuous mix)
  • Total Dance 2008 - DJ Skribble (continuous mix)

As always, I am open for suggesions. To see my other workout tunes, go here and here.

I just adore what Kristen Bell wore to the Teen Choice Awards the other day. The combination of her Jenni Kayne hot pink skirt and off-white cami, accessorized with nude peep-toe pumps, turquoise and brown necklace and chocolate brown clutch was unexpected, but it totally worked. Young, fresh and appropriate for the event. I managed to find a similar outfit to Kristen's, with less of a monetary impact.

Style Inspiration: Rachel Bilson - 3

As evident by my blog postings (this being my 3rd on her), I love Rachel Bilson. She has a feminine, casual style, often with an edgy twist. I'd definitely say she has a personal look and is willing to take risks and mix it up. For day to-day she often wears flowy dresses, form-fitting jeans and cute jackets. For events, the dresses she chooses are figure-flattering and hardly ever similar. As far as accessories go, I especially like her over-sized bags, pretty clutches and cozy scarves.

I am eagerly anticipating Rachel's new clothing line, Edie Rose for DKNY, which hits stores next month. I've seen a few items and they're cute and affordable.

You can see my two previous postings on Rachel here and here.

I like Rihanna's dressed-down look here. It's more casual and laid back than we usually see her, but she still looks stylish, presentable and comfortable. I thought this would be a simple outfit to re-create on the cheap. And guess what, I found all the elements at Forever 21 for about $60 total!
