Budget Friendly Blair

I saw this pretty Pleated Crepe Dress in the October issue of Lucky Magazine and was so surprised it was from Chadwick's. It comes in 5 colors and is only $59! I can totally see Blair Waldorf sporting this dress with some knee-highs, mary janes, fab handbag and of course, a colorful headband. I think I may have to make a purchase....

Topshop is here!

Well, it's at least here virtually.....British retailer Topshop has launched a US website! No stores yet, but they're opening one in NYC this fall. I LOVE Topshop and have spent countless hours (and pounds) there when in London. For those who aren't familiar with the store, I'd compare to Forever 21, but higher end. This could be trouble! :)

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

I am seriously loving all of the color options J. Crew is offering for fall. I want everything!

Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear: 3.1 Phillip Lim

My favorite pieces from 3.1 Philip Lim's Spring 2009 ready-to-wear collection are classy and relatively simplistic with the exception of pretty details like ruffles, rouching and fringe. The color palate is neutral for the most part, which makes it easy to switch up each of the looks with the addition of different accessories, such as a bold shoe or handbag.

Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear: Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg's spring 2009 ready-to-wear collection was one of my favorites shown in New York last week. It's feminine, flirty, and fun. I love the gorgeous hues and color combinations she used. All of the outfits look comfortable and effortless. The dresses are especially gorgeous and the majority of them are suitable for everyone, not just rail-thin runway models.

Imgaes With Imagination

While I am not super familiar with a great deal of fashion photographers (though I'm working on it), I am a fan of some, and Tim Walker is one of them. His photos are eye-catching, playful, often strange and fantastical, but yet also raw and real. Quite a mixed bag actually, which is why I think he's so appealing.

He has a new book that I would just love to own and flip through when I need some inspiration, Tim Walker Pictures. Below are a few images from the book.
