Arm Candy

I'll gladly take every single one of these Lulu Frost for J.Crew bangles. The mixing, matching and layering options are endless.

Emerald Ears

I adore these Kenneth Jay Lane earrings I spotted in the August issue of Marie Claire. So pretty, and they look pricier than $100, don't they?
They immediately reminded me of the Lorraine Schwartz stunners Angelina Jolie donned at the 2009 Oscars. I'd venture to guess they're slightly more than $100.

On a whim, I bought some fun, aqua colored shades over the weekend at Target. I think they were like $12. The next day I saw Ashley Tisdale sporting an almost identical pair. Hers are Ray-Bans and obviously not an identical price to mine, but I'm cool with the cheapos, as they'll be out of style soon enough and I won't be too upset if something happens to them.  I saw a pair at Nordstrom today for $10 (they don't have the same color online) and here's a similar pair from Fred Flare.

Btw, her other accessory isn't too shabby.  Hiya Zac Efron!

I Realize It's Barely Summer, But.....

J.Crew's Fall 2011 lookbook is online. Charming per usual. I'm especially loving the jewelry.

Exquisite & Eclectic

I'm kind of obsessed with Dannijo jewelry.  Their handmade versatile pieces come in a variety of colors, materials, patterns and textures, all with awesome details.

June Gloom

Every year in LA we have the dreaded June Gloom.  While it hasn't been too bad this time, we've still been exposed to the grey.  So I figured, why not do do a post embracing this universally flattering color.  Grey + white stripes are a favorite combo of mine and a constant in the collections year after year. To incorporate a little sunshine, my go-to accent color is yellow.

Rainbow Brights

Spring and summer are fast approaching, which make me want to ditch any drab-colored dubs and break out the brights.  Multi-colored pieces can be super fun and eye-catching, without being over-the-top à la Punky Brewster.

On a recent trip to France, Jessica Alba wore the perfect easy, breezy ensemble for traipsing around as we mosey on into warmer temps. Bare legs, covered arms and a hat to shield the sun if it decides to show it's face (or to hide a less than perfect coif).  I re-created her outfit (minus shoes and shades for under $80).

Sunny Disposition

Obviously I'd prefer to keep the sunshine we've been having in LA, but I'd gladly don any one of these items, rain or shine.
