Emmy Fashion

There were lots of gorgeous dresses on the Emmy Awards' red carpet and most all of the gals did a nice job with their hair, makeup and jewelry choices. There were a few looks I wasn't too fond of, but overall I thought it was a nice showing. I don't know if I had one favorite though.

Pixie Perfection

Michelle Williams and Cate Blanchett looked radiant at the Oscars with their super blonde + short tresses.  I don't think I could ever pull this look off, but one day it would be fun to attempt.

Lacey, Lavender & Lovely

Though she wasn't nominated for an Academy Award I'm nominating Mila Kunis as best dressed at the 2011 Oscars. As soon as I saw her on the red carpet, she danced her way to the top of my list.  Her floaty Elie Saab Haute Couture dress was gorgeous and looked great with her skin tone and dark locks.  I loved her makeup, hair and Neil Lane diamonds - perfection!

Oscar Warm Up

The Independent Spirit Awards were held today, the day before the Academy Awards.  While I am much more excited about the Oscars, I mean it is the creme de la creme, I'll take any awards show red carpet. The Spirit Awards are clearly more relaxed and less fancy shmancy, but some gals chose some cute frocks for the occasion.

Glamour Abroad

I'm not really into the BAFTA's, but I like pretty dresses. Here are a few lovelies from Britain's version of the Oscars held this weekend.

Stop! Grammy Time

The Grammy fashions were just so so for me.  Granted there were some gorgeous looks, but no one completely blew me away and stopped the show fashion-wise.

My best dressed pick is Chrissy Teigen.  She's a model, John Legend's girlfriend and of my favorite tweeters (@chrissyteigen). I would have chosen different shoes, but I adore the Gucci dress and gold belt.

These ladies get a thumbs up from me.

Nicki Minaj's Givenchy ensemble and hair get a thumbs down and the outrageous award, in spite of Lady Gaga's bizarre, but not too shocking egg/womb entrance.

Let's Not Forget the Fellas

These gents looked fabulous at the SAG Awards.  Classicly handsome in their suits / tuxedos.  Personally, I adore each of them and would like to hang out :)

Girl Crush

I've decided my newest celeb girl crush is Emma Stone.  She seems like a cool, down to earth, funny gal (loved Easy A). At first I wasn't sure how I felt about her recently turned platinum 'do, but after seeing her at the Critics' Choice and Golden Globe Awards, I love it!  She was absolutely stunning at both and looked young and fresh.  Hair, makeup, dresses - bravo to all!
